An influence of 1960s book cover design and 1930s Soviet commercial art

Manchester based artist and illustrator Kim Thompson is someone who enjoys to paint under the influence of 1960s book cover design, 1930s Soviet commercial art, Ghanaian naive art and EC horror comics, to name but a few. With previous clients including Lime Pictures, The BBC and the NHS, Kim has plenty of experience under her belt and has even exhibited at Manchester's Cornerhouse. Here are just a few examples of her paintings, hand-drawn in ink and acrylic. Beautiful.
