Founded in 1850, this established family run business is a well known and respected consumer brand that distributes and develops products to high street retailers, department stores and mail order companies both within the UK and Internationally. Experiencing year on year growth, this exciting company has doubled in size over the past five years and now has an opportunity for a Marketing Executive / Marketing Communications Executive to join the team.
Working within a ten strong marketing team which covers the complete marketing mix, you will focus on marketing communications through digital marketing and public relations. On a day-to-day basis expect to be involved with preparing press releases, planning and monitoring social media activity, liaising with press and media contacts, arranging styled photography, developing social media profiles and much more.
With twelve brands covering over 3500 products and a fast paced product development programme, there is always a fresh angle to generate ideas from. What’s more people love our products, which is always a bonus to start any marketing communication!
To qualify... Whether you call yourself a Marketing Executive, Marketing Communications Executive, PR Coordinator or similar it doesn’t matter, your CV just needs to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Previous marketing experience,
• First class prioritisation, time management and general organisation skills,
• Extremely high level of attention to detail,
• Excellent written, oral and communications skills,
• Creativity,
• A keen interest in social media, digital marketing and viral marketing,
• Excellent PC skills,
• Team Player.
